| Designed for the Sir Walter Scott Bi-centenary in 1971 by Alistair Buchan, Lochcarron of Scotland, for the centenary committee. The tartan was approved by Patricia Maxwell Scott. The design features a black and white check taken from the Border Shepherd's Plaid. |
